What is a generic medication?

In other words, generic medications have the same pharmacological effects as their brand-name counterparts. Over half of all prescribed medications are for generic medications.

Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.amiloride and hydrochlorothiazide. Both medications are "water pills" (diuretics) and cause your body to get rid of extra salt and water. This effect may increase the amount of urine you make when you first start the product. Potassium levels must be closely monitored on a regular basis while taking Moduret. If not treated, very high potassium levels can sometimes be fatal.
